A few exercises you can do in our classes
What is mat Pilates?
Mat Pilates consists of a series of exercises that are typically performed on the floor. Small apparatus can be integrated to enhance exercises. It is a great way to increase general strength, flexibility and balance. It also helps to correct spinal curves, increase pelvic floor muscles and correct scapular stability.
What is studio Pilates?
Studio Pilates incorporates larger pieces of equipment that provide varying degrees of resistance to your exercises. We work with a reformer and a Wunda chair, which allow you to increase core strength, general muscle power and flexibility. It’s particularly helpful to assist with those suffering from lower back pain and headaches related to poor posture, as well as those rehabilitating from hip/knee surgery and females who are pre & post-natal.
